My Background
Jaxon Roberts is a dedicated vocal instructor, professional performer, and seasoned music educator based in Council Bluffs, Iowa. With formal studies in Vocal Music Education and over three years of experience directing competitive show choirs, Jaxon has become a trusted coach for students of all skill levels looking to grow as singers and artists.

As a performer, Jaxon has competed and placed at regional musical theatre competitions, and continues to sing professionally across various genres, blending classical technique with contemporary style. His versatility as a musician gives him a unique ability to connect with a wide range of vocalists—from pop singers to show choir soloists and musical theatre performers.

In addition to teaching private voice lessons through Roberts Voice Studio, Jaxon has worked as an assistant director of show choirs, director of show choirs, and vocal coach across Iowa and Nebraska. His teaching philosophy is grounded in empathy, technique, and self-expression—empowering each student to discover confidence in their voice both on and off the stage.

My Background
Sara Kalamaja is a vocal instructor, performer, arranger, and composer based in Lincoln, Nebraska. She is currently completing her senior year at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, pursuing a degree in Music Education.

Sara has worked with singers of all ages and abilities, providing vocal coaching that blends technical skill with musical artistry for a balanced and polished sound. Her background includes serving as a clinician for show choirs and concert choirs of varying sizes, as well as performing in theatrical productions and assisting vocally in rehearsal settings. These diverse experiences have given her insight into many vocal styles and techniques, which she brings into her teaching.

Passionate about vocal health, Sara strives to help students achieve their goals safely and confidently. She believes that every person is capable of singing and that growth can happen at any stage of life. Even as an undergraduate, she has held leadership roles in professional development organizations, attended conferences, and actively sought to expand her knowledge of the voice beyond the classroom.

Her teaching philosophy centers on building strong, positive relationships with students, empowering them not only to reach their musical potential but also to grow as individuals through the study of voice.
